Catherine Buckley is a Practice Development Lecturer at Northridge House Education and Research Centre. She has a background in Action Research as well as practice development, dementia and long term care, both as a practitioner and researcher. This gives her a unique insight into knowledge utilisation in such settings and work-based learning. She has been the Co-lead on a National Person-centred Implementation Research Project “Places to Flourish” and is the lead facilitator on the Implementation of three guidance documents (Nutrition and Hydration, Medication Management and Pain Assessment and Management), funded by the Irish Hospice Foundation.
