Dr Akhtar-Danesh began is an Associate Professor of biostatistics with the School of Nursing, McMaster University. His primary research interests include survival analysis (including relative survival analysis), analysis of population-based cancer datasets, research tool developments, Q-methodology (a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods for the study of subjectivity), and analysis of large datasets.
