Dr Thompson is an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Manitoba. Over the last 10 years, Genevieve has a developed a program of research focused on quality care for older adults living and dying in long-term care (LTC), along with those that visit and work in these settings of care. Her studies have systematically explored issues related to palliative approaches, person-centred practices or quality care for older adults, particularly for persons with dementia, within LTC.
